This policy explains what YGallery collects when you send a request through this website, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. It is written in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
YGallery provides private and on-location hair services in Manhattan, New York. You can reach us at yaniv@ygallerysalon.com or 212-729-6420.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a request form, or send us by phone, text or email. Depending on the form, that is:
- Your name, and the company, hotel or venue you are booking for
- Your mobile number, and your email address if you choose to give one
- The date, preferred time and ready-by time of your appointment
- The address, neighborhood, hotel or venue where the service will take place
- The service you want, the number of people, and any notes about your hair
- A photo of your hair, only if you choose to upload one
We do not ask for payment card details through this website, and you should never send them to us by email or text.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your request, confirm availability and pricing, coordinate the right stylist, and carry out the appointment you asked for. If you become a returning client we keep a record of your past appointments so we can pick up where we left off.
Photos you upload are used only to evaluate and prepare for your requested service — for example, so your stylist arrives with the right products and tools. We do not publish a client photo anywhere, including social media, unless you have separately agreed to it.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
- We do not rent, trade or share your details with advertisers.
- We do not send marketing messages to a number or address you gave us purely to book an appointment, unless you asked us to.
Who else sees it
Your request is seen by Yaniv Levy and by the stylist assigned to your appointment. Beyond that, your details are handled only by the services that run this website and our email — our web host, which passes your form submission on to us, and our email provider, which delivers and stores it. We do not pass your information to any other company, and we will not start doing so without saying so on this page first.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep request and appointment records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can handle follow-up questions, returning bookings and our own tax and accounting obligations.
Ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing yaniv@ygallerysalon.com from the address you contacted us with, or by calling 212-729-6420. We will confirm once it has been done. We will keep only what we are legally required to keep, such as a record of a completed transaction.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct something that is wrong, using the same contact details.
Cookies and measurement
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run any advertising or social media tracking pixel. Its fonts are served from this website itself, so loading a page does not send a request to any third party.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through it. A parent or guardian should make any request on a child's behalf.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
