Yaniv Levy

yaniv-levyA Master Hair Stylist, Yaniv Levy first tapped into his innate ability to design hair at age 17. At 21, having already worked with some of Israel’s top stylists, Yaniv moved to Los Angeles where he worked the Beverly Hills scene, cutting and styling hair for celebrities and other trendsetters. It was there on the LA circuit that Yaniv developed his mastery for All Things Blonde: working with a diverse clientele of varying skin tones and hues, as well as experimenting with a wide range of brands and products, Yaniv is an exceptional hair colorist for anyone looking to lighten their locks. From sun-kissed highlights to full-on platinum, Yaniv is a demonstrated blonde expert.

After his 2002 move to the east coast, Yaniv joined New York’s largest hair salon company, and quickly became one of the company’s top educators, alongside his future YGallery partner, Yoni Kreger. Together, they taught legions of hairstylists across the spectrum of experience and working with a wide range of products, and brands, disseminating the industry’s newest cutting-edge skills and techniques. While working synergistically with Yoni to organize educational seminars, fashion shows, and other events, Yaniv became a salon manager and drove one of the company’s most poorly-performing branches into one of its most profitable.

Yaniv and Yoni opened YGallery Salon | SoHo in 2010 to much acclaim. Within the first year of business, YGallery Salon became a New York success. The YGallery team nearly tripled in size over the first few years, as YGallery’s notoriety spread across the boroughs, throughout the local art scene, across the blogosphere, working behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week, and beyond. Five years later, the two partners brought the YGallery concept to South Orange, NJ, a culturally rich and vibrant community 34 minutes from Manhattan.

A canvas painter and martial arts practitioner in his spare time, Yaniv’s artwork and his hair creations benefit from a positive feedback loop of mutual inspiration, all of which reflect his dedication to studying the mind/body connection and the eternal pursuit of harmony.
